Santa Quiteria scored on Tuesday his first victory in the 49th International Tournament MANSION Polo Sotogrande. The team composed of Juan Torroba, Gerardo, Gonzalo and Jose Entrecanales managed to win 10-9 to Fray Guen Indi in the match held at the Santa Maria Polo Club, corresponding to the second day of the Bronze Cup Isolas 1892 handicap 6 goals. Meanwhile, the competition advances and tomorrow, Wednesday, the Bronze Cup will begin in the 14-handicap category, sponsored by Hyundai.
The match was played on the court III of Los Pinos, facilities located next to the Port of Sotogrande, which this year will host all matches without exception. It was a very even and entertaining match. While Santa Quiteria was ahead on the scoreboard at the end of the second chukker or period of play, Fray Guen Indi, a team composed of Pablo Mora Figueroa, Aristide Faggionato, Second F. Llorente and Kaveh Atrak, reversed the situation in the third half. But from the fourth half on, Santa Quiteria went back up, which won by a difference of one goal.
