Águilas and Fray Guen Indi will face each other in the final of the 1892 Isolas Silver Cup with a 4-6 handicap. The first one had already assured his presence by points, and the second one got the place after winning the commitment he had today in the 49th MANSION International Polo Tournament. The decisive match will be played next Saturday. The day before, the handicap final will be played 12-14 goals. The Santa Maria Polo Club of Sotogrande has also hosted this Thursday Autobello, an event that has brought together several hundred collectors of vehicles and luxury watches.
The finalist who remained to be known was decided in the match played on court II, which faced Fran Guen Indi and Isolas, and ended with the result of 10-6. The winning team, formed by Pablo Mora Figueroa, Cesar Miño, Segundo F. Llorente and Kaveh Atrak distanced themselves from their rival from the third chukker. Isolas played with Alicia and Daniel Gariador, Estanislao Grahn and Lawrence Isola.
The first match of the afternoon was between Santa Quiteria and Biarritz Arte del Vino. The clash, held on court I of Los Pinos, ended with a score of 8-7. The winning team, composed of Gerardo, Gonzalo and Jose Entrecanales, and Juan Torroba was behind on the scoreboard in the first three chukkers or playing times. In the fourth he forced a draw with the team formed by Amy Huson, Laurent Desmas, Patricio Neves and Santiago Torreguitar. In the last period he got the definitive advantage of one goal.
The final of this category of 4-6 goals will take place next Saturday, August 15, from 7 pm. Previously we will be able to see the subsidiary final to decide who occupies the third place.
Two big finals on Friday
Tomorrow, Friday 14 August, is a very interesting day. At 6.30pm on court III, the final of the Isolas 1892 Silver Cup 12-14 handicap is scheduled, with Mansion-LaLigaSports and Sainte Mesme as contenders. This is the second title in importance of those who are delivered in this tournament and one of the most anticipated moments of the competition.
Previously, at 17.00 hours, the Santa Maria Polo Club hosts in its field II the final of the Federation Cup of Selections U-18 between Spain and France. This trophy is organized by the Royal Spanish Polo Federation and the Santa María Polo Club itself, with the sponsorship of LaLigaSports and the Consejo Superior de Deportes.
For tomorrow’s event, it is advisable to arrive early, as the capacity is limited, and access controls will be doubled to guarantee security measures. Spectators are always requested to comply with health prevention regulations.

In addition to the sports competition, this summer the Santa María Polo Club is hosting unique events, such as the Autobello, an original competition that this Thursday brought together owners of sports cars, classics, legendary motorbikes, watches… Several hundred people took part in this exclusive event. After the exhibition, attendees shared a dinner served by Cobos Embassy Catering on the grounds of the enclosure.
