Biarritz and Aguilas scored two victories in the double round of the Isolas 1892 Silver Cup handicap 4-6, played on Monday at the Santa Maria Polo Club. Two interesting matches in the beginning of the third week of competition of the 49th International MANSION Polo Tournament, which in a few days will experience two transcendental finals. In parallel with the sports agenda, this emblematic site of Sotogrande offers leisure activities for all audiences.
In the first match of the afternoon, Biarritz Arte del Vino beat Isolas by 10-7. The meeting was held in the field I of Los Pinos. Biarritz, team composed of Amy Huson, Laurent Desmas, Patricio Neves and Santiago Torreguitar was ahead on the scoreboard in all chukker or periods of time in which a polo match is divided. On the other hand, Isolas played with Alicia and Daniel Gariador, Estanislao Grahn and Lawrence Isola.
The second match of the afternoon took place on court IV of Los Pinos. Santa Quiteria and Aguilas played against each other. The game ended with a victory of the seconds by 6-8. Águilas, a team formed by Ricardo Blanco, Mauro Bianconi, Ezequiel Zubiaurre and Jorge Pepa, kept the advantage from the second chukker. Santa Quiteria played with Gerardo, Gonzalo and Jose Entrecanales, and Jaime Serra -who replaced Juan Torroba-.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, the 49th MANSION International Polo Tournament continues with a new match of the Isolas 1892 Silver Cup handicap 12-14. Sainte Mesme and Los Schatzies will face each other at 19.00 at Los Pinos field III. Two big finals are announced for the weekend: on Friday the 12-14 handicap and on Saturday the 4-6 goals.
The Santa María Polo Club is going through the central days of the MANSION International Polo Tournament and this can be seen in the atmosphere on the terraces and leisure areas, such as the Shopping Village, where you can buy different items in the fashion and accessories shops. Every afternoon there are musical performances in this area, where it is also possible to have lunch or a drink. The children have their own area of attractions and games, attended by professional monitors.
